Well if you do the right of passage from our town, I humbly invite you. Involves 1/2 bottle of quality tequila in shots for 30 minutes , and basically that's it. So.......like a Regular Tuesday, gramma.

Looks really good. Will you be adding doors and maybe a shelf? Are you going to run a chiller with this setup?

No side access? Always nice to have a side door.
It's a peninsula. The one short end will be against the wall & the other will have a cabinet with a couple shelves. The openings on both long sides are pretty big & should allow for plenty working room.

6 pgs of nonsense...
Thanks.
Yes it will have doors & moulding & shelves in the opening on the small end. Door will also hide the cabinet on the end. So 5 total doors...
Yes we will be running a 1/3 hp chiller

can you take the top of the stand off to get the sump in there?
So the sump you're using fits diagonally through the openings?
I was also all like how TF is it gonna go in?
No. The center brace/divider where the cabinet doors will be on one of the sides is built to come out if & when need be. I'll try & get some pics of what I'm talking about...

With that piece removed, there will be an opening 53" wide. Our sump tank is 48" long.

With the piece in place, we have 23" of space in each of the 4 door openings. It is also very nice to have three large amount of access to the sump on both sides of the tank. I've already gotten used to that so I'm glad it will be the same this time. Don't you think that will be enough for roomyness for working in the sump?

If I recall correctly, I think the door openings are approximately 27" high & once the door framing is cleared, there is even more room up to the ceiling. My sump on the current tank is so crowded & I hate it! I'm really looking forward to having the extra room!!!

If your tank is full and you need to remove your sump will you feel comfortable removing that center brace? or will you have to empty the tank?
