Since flippin' is the "in" thing right now, I finally got off my butt and plumbed a 4.5 gallon pico made by John (AA). Don't need it to be normal frag tank sizes cuz hey, when you're flippin' you're hopin the frags barely get a chance to get wet! haha

OK seriously, I would like to actually start trying some fragging to learn how to propagate and hopefully swap frags with homies to have some fun. Bought a "my first fragstar kit" from Chance (thanks adrock for the recommendations!) First project is to cut a piece of UCs from the colony in my DT, heal it and give it to a lucky SCR member for freezies. I think I'll make it a contest on who can write the best essay on why flippin' is wrong. haha

Anyways, its a 10x10x12h with oflow on the outside
circulation via MJ 900 return and a tunze 80gph reactor pump inside the tank for some pico flow

Sweet little setup. I'll put my name in to the UC raffle...that'll bring a sweet profit, lol! But seriously, when you've got some healed up I might be interested if the new setup is ready. GLWF(lippin)

Yea, fragging is dangerous :) I haven't fragged any corals in a long time. i was cutting up some frags the other day and wasn't paying attention. 30 mins later my thumb swelled up to double the size. something stung me, maybe it was a bristleworm.

cute frag tank :)

Thanks guys. After seeing what happened to E's eye and stories of everyone getting all sick n shizzles from cutting ZnPs I def will be suited up haha. My wife's a surgical tech so she can get me the mats n gowns and I already have shop glasses and gloves. Also thinking of making an acrylic splatter shield. Not going to take fragging lightly but also prob won't be fragging like crazy either.

That ish sucked, but now it's funny. I wear and gloves if you have open wounds. Guys who don't wear eye protection deserve what's coming to them.

Ya. Considering most people who are fsm's never wear eye protection. I've fragged polyps 3 times in my life. 3rd time was the winner. I think the mental aspect of losing sight messed with me the most.

The injection of antibiotic to the eyelid was the most painful injection I've ever received. And I've been injected inside ripped open flesh. I felt my scalp burning. But ya it's all a bad dream I have beyond 20/20 again.

Its because of you issue the we went out and bought eye protection. We rarely frag stuff but will never do it without protection
