You are probably not. This would be a huge liability for many companies. Depending on the size of the aquarium you may want to do this yourself or consider a new aquarium
Agreed. I’ve gone down this dead-end before looking to reseal my 175g. I ended with an acrylic tank instead. It scratches easily but I can buff it out — best part, it will likely outlive me, without a reseal!

I have resealed and made a few tanks from scratch. It is surprisingly easy to do if you use the right materials. It is really much more tedious than it is difficult. Hardest part is really scraping all of the old silicone off. After it's off, you just tape if off, run the silicone, and push the glass on. No need for clamps, but some light masking tape will work well. Run your finger along the inside of the seam to smear it. Wait 5 minutes, pull the tape off.

It's much harder if you have several baffles like a sump, but a display tank is very easy to do.

You do have to wait two weeks for it to cure. Don't skip the cure time.

This is the only product I would use:

want to hook up a fellow refer and help me reseal my sump?
Want to pay my hourly rate?

Honestly rn wouldn’t be a good time. Maybe in the winter but I’m working with a full hand rn. Working 60 hours a week. My berghia farms are going crazy, spending a few hours a week on maintenance and feeding. My wife is competing in bodybuilding, and I’m training her. Also I’m in the process of getting my certifications to be a personal trainer.

It is really easy, it is just time consuming. The old silicone has to be gone and the glass 100% clean.
In fact fixing tanks is how I got into saltwater in 1986.....
I like to use ASI

I know it works because I recently put a new pre-drilled back glass on a tank and made a mistake by putting on backwards. I almost could not get the glass back off and it took 4 times as long to clean the silicone off as the factory silicone.

Where you located?
How big is your tank?
Any pics of the tank?
Do you know where the leak?
Have you recaulk before at all?
How old is the tank?
When did you last put water in it?
Can you estimate how fast is the leak?
Are you the first owner?
Who is the manufacturer?
Do you have any other tanks with the same brand, same type, etc?
Pics of the entire setup including stand, braces, lights, hobs, skimmers, etc?
Anything else you want to share about the tank?
