My mystery warsse just did a funny worm curl and then just croak =( he was nice and healthy today don't know what happened to him tonight....he was on the sand and I thought he was just resting and then I was observing him...looked like he went into a convulsion and became stiff no movement so I had to fish him out.

he was eating fine....everything I threw in there and saw it hunting for the baby snails in my tank....so the RBTA probably stung it and killed it then? Can that happen?

The pair I had died was split up by a bubble coral. I can't be for sure cause the next morning all I saw was the skin like when a snake sheds. But I'm pretty sure.

So ya the nem was hungry and stung the dude and he was a baby so he died. The end. Jk

Sorry for your loss. I lost 600$ in fish in the past 2 weeks so I know what it feels like to pull em out. It sucks big time.

so I was thinking about getting a replacement, but since the RBTA stingers can kill the wrasse I don't think it's going to be wise....will the RBTA kill bartlet anthias with it's tentacles?

i've never had a fish die from an RBTA... that's all news to me...

i've seen a bunch of wrasses in tanks with huge bta and never had any casualties... actually, i've seen more fish getting killed by acan echinata more than e. quadricolor...

even these kind of wrasse don't get stung by RBTA...
