I saw these at AGE. I think they'd be great in a nano but would easily get lost in a bigger reef

You'd be surprised. I have a black and whit one in my 265 and he's super active around the tank. Fun to watch

These guys take to frozen pretty easily once settled, ova and mysis. About on par with training target mandarins to eat frozen. Cool in pairs too, our pair spawns each night. Pretty cool.

Not to be a downer as they are gorgeous! but they will likely starve in a tank if you don't have enough pods, etc

I had this problem, it only ate pods. A big bummer because it really is a nice fish. If you try one make sure you see it eat in-store before you take it home.

^^ ya itd be best to see it eat at the store first before you buy it. it does suck they are such finicky eaters since they are such good looking fish.
