I think those are also called scooter blennies? Small mouths eats pods unless pellet trained just like any other dragonette type fish

We have a black and white one. Pretty cool fish, very active looking for food constantly. Pod eater for sure but ours took to frozen and pellets fairly quickly. I'm sure you could get that one to do the same

Just saw a bunch of these at Tong's. Really cool looking fish and am tempted to get one. $39.99. The guy working there said they will eat small pellet and flake.

You'll have a lot more luck if they are already eating prepared foods at the LFS but these fish like all dragonets are hard to train. So it might be hard to find one eating prepared at an LFS. Also look at their stomach cavity on these fish. If it's really sunken in then the odds are against you.
Would I have better luck if I made sure to observe them eating pellets/flakes at the LFS??

I saw these at AGE. I think they'd be great in a nano but would easily get lost in a bigger reef
