Hey guys I'm going to be setting up my first mixing station, I'm using an 100GPD RO Buddie with the DI add-on. Will be using the Rio Plus 2100 Aqua pump to mix in a 30 gallon trash bin. But I don't know much about the different salt mixes there is, so I'm looking to you guys for help. Which mix do you guys use that'll mix well and has good parameters etc. Thanks in advance, any advice helps!

What are you using now? H2Ocean is good. I use reg Red Sea salt mix and mixes well.

SAKTEK I have a mixed reef. Zoarder I usually get my water from my LFS. Cool I'll look into H2Ocean, I saw a fellow reefer selling a bucket on here, hopefully he still has it.

I use regular instant ocean, and I match my parameters to my tank... H2O is good, Red Sea as well. GL!

Reef Crystals mix well for me. I do add half the amount, then about an hour later add the other half. Waters usually clear in a few hours that way.

I use Tropic Marin 24 cups makes 50g at 1.024 salinity. I usually let it mix overnight before usage. I did run Red Sea coral pro but leaves a nasty residue behind and runs very high on Alk that cause my tank crash.

+1 for Instant Ocean. Consistency and the levels aren't all jacked up so you're not throwing your tank off with water changes.
