lol...but yeah i have to agree when i had my 225g, i only used tropic marin (not even pro) and the tank thrived using that salt.

D&D or coralife,all the parameters on D&D are right on but don't like all the brown residue it leaves. Coralife has good alk ,high calcium, the mag is a little low at 1200.

D&d is ok but i dont like the brown sludge that you get so i switched to reef crystals. It mixes up nice and clear and im dosing anyways to keep my levels in check so its not much more to dose to get this at the right levels. And because it is cheaper than most salt i still save money eventhough i have to pay for more to dose it with.

Are you talking IO or reef crystals? I used RC and always got high levels and a nasty sludge. IO's numbers are lower but very clean...
