Thats right, San Diego Marine Aquarium Society (SDMAS) is hosting San Diegos first coral FRAG SWAP of the year! So start getting those frags ready! Bought too many frags at CFM, and have no room in your tank, bring 'em on down!!

The swap will be part of the March SDMAS meeting on Wednesday March 11th. If youve never been to a meeting, or even a frag swap before, nows the time. Even if you have nothing to swap, or dont know how to frag corals.perfect timing!! We will be having coral fragging instruction and demos during the meeting as well.

We will not be providing a community frag tank, as this can lead to the spread of unwanted nasties between corals. Coral frags do just fine for several hours in small plastic or Styrofoam cups. Just be sure to cut your frags in advance! You dont want freshly cut frags sliming up in their cups :)

My sincerest apologies folks. I just copied and pasted this announcement from our local SD boards, and didn't think to tone it down here, since it would be a far drive for just a swap at our regular monthly meeting   Totally my bad.

I know Wed evening is not ideal for people traveling from afar. This is our monthly meeting. The topic of the meeting is coral fragging, and the host requested we make it a swap too. So it's a meeting first, a swap second.

We want to keep our meeting days constant Jojo.

But have no fear! We do have our big outdoor summer BBQ on a weekend and this includes a BIG swap, during the day. Hope to see you all at that one :)
