sucks when fish store dont give you the discounted/sales price unless you mentioned it.
Havnt been there in about year or so... I had to mention their website to get the "deals" and then only did they gave me a member card and those prices. Atleast that was with my experience and was over a year ago. Its not a bad store IMO i would still be going there if these other places wernt on my way to and from work. Now its just to much out of the way to go back.

well my thought on this. rukis is either connected with the store some how or hmm good friends work there or own it. either way he seems to get the best deals out of it. photos definatley need some work like most on this boards nowadays. if your making all of this money on the forums i would expect to be black balled by the mods sooner or later due to not been a sponser and acting like a commercial seller, it is nice to hear various views on any store just to make sure on it not biased or hmm pluging for unknown reasons. once the weather heats up some on the way to the beach i will stop by and make my own opinions. =)

Well, looks like you havent met me yet! You dont have to be a photographer to be a coral farmer! And my cell phone takes pretty good pictures, I'd say! Ask anyone who has seen my tank personally!! Crusty corals?? Almost 80% of corals in my tank are LE or hgh end, shows how little you know! I've been in the industry for only a year and I'm self sufficient off corals, believe it or not, actions speak louder than your BS words! I'm the furthest thing from a dousche, check my feedback from ALL the people that bought from me! You're the ignorant a$$hole! You are the ONLY douscheBAG I have EVER dealt with... or didn't deal with!. I've had no problems with anyONE for the ENTIRE year. And what wholesaler do you know that has tons of LE corals?? I'd love to raid them! But if you know of such smokin places in LA, then what were you doing wasting your time at a LOCAL fish store in OC?? And if you felt soo ripped off why would you buy it, talk sh*t, AND then say you'll go back because a friend lives in HB?? haha Not adding up?? Obviously you liked what you saw or you wouldnt say that! No need to hate, Enjoy the hobby! :top:
Listen bro, dont give me a ton of grief and turn around and try sell me your crusty corals, quite frankly you can put those corals where the sun dont shine. Make enough money to pay for your house from selling corals, I have never heard so much rubbish in my whole life, you cant even take a good picture of them and your attitude with enquiries from other people stinks. Also your tank looks like you raided the Wholesaler for mini colonies and bought impulsively, a man with a 120gal tank making enough money to pay his mortgage. PFFFT. Take a step back and look at yourself before judging others. I hope people realize what a douche you are and don't give you the time of day. (Hopefully) see you around.......

I felt ripped off for the most part until Fatty23 explained it to me. I am still not happy about spending $48.88 for so little but at least I wasnt ripped off, shop wasn't as good as I thought but may go back sometime, hey maybe I'll see you there fishing guppies out of the FW tanks for some kid. HAHA.

Hey richard, I'm a independant coral farmer that's been in the industry less than a year! Not a commercial business. I've just become self sufficient from coral farming, but that doens't mean I'm rich from it, or made enough to open a store, but sponsorship is not out of the question and neither is opening a store. SCR is not the only place I post. It helps, but is not much of a source of income. It's just a matter of time before a shop is up and running! And I just know the owner at Seaside, David, from being a customer about a year ago. He's a great guy with a great shop! Went in there and liked the store, thats it. Whats up with thinking I work there?? FYI The pics were taken on my cell phone!

Needed some kalk today. Took a cruise down pch to seaside. Met David, quiet at first but was very cool after I asked him about the shop. Bought some Kalk, pro salt,Ca, & a pump & asked if he honored online prices. He gladly gave me a Fishsupply.com card calculated the difference & handed me cash back. I went ahead & purchased more salt with the cash he gave back. He said I can order online & pick up @ the store. Better for me as I can't get to MD during the weekday. His prices were comparable to MD.

For the local reefer this store gets the thumbs up. Prices on dry goods are reasonable. I can pick up my order on the weekend. Whatever you don't see he will order. I will put in an order for some Brightwell stuff online & I will let you guys know how the transaction went. As far as Livestock pretty much the same stuff most LFS has. Your not gonna find ORA stuff, but looks like he's starting to collect some LE frags that I saw on a little frag rack.

Don't think he's related to Rukis cuz the dude looks pretty asian. The other guy that works there I had to speak Spanish too.

I was there last week. The Hispanic guy has been working there for years, friendly and will feed a fish if asked however his price quote might be high. I asked him the price for a Longnose Butterfly which ate quite well. He said $28.99. Seemed a little high for a smal Longnose. I asked for a discount and he checked the computer. He talks to the another asian looking guy with glasses and agrees the Longnose Butterfly was small lowered the price to $21.99. They bagged it up and since both were busy with other customers, David comes out from the back and completed my sale. David looked at the longnose in the bag and said $18.99.

If you want the best deal it might be best to ask David for the final price
