I had no idea Duncans were non-photosyntetic. Learn something new everyday :)

I just grabbed some the other week and I've already been neglectful.
I just got some the other day too so I was reading up on them. There are several sources on the web that say they ARE photosynthetic. They say feeding helps but they are fast growing anyway, even without anything but light.

Little Princess favia from Fins & Critters,I got a Raptors Peace also, though,I think it needs a little more light, both are great growers:biggrin:

What is the coral just underneath the favia (green knobby mushroom sort of thing) I have some of these in my tank and never knew what they were. they seem to grow really slow.

It's a mushroom, not an LPS.
I know it's not an LPS :frusty: (I have several in my tank) but it doesn't look like most mushrooms. It has little "tentacle" like things on it and especially around the edge it seems to stick them out as if to sting other mushrooms that encroach on it. I was just wondering what kind of mushroom it was.

Thanks Dave, extremely rare and valuable I suspect. :a26:
Wow, I was being sarcastic but that is it:

Ricordea Yuma-Neon Green, PER POLYP, Tonga $49.95

I got this as a little blob on a piece of live rock and have grown it up to 8 polyps
