Skimmer for Nanocube 28

I need to pickup a skimmer for a new nanocube 28, I'm thinking of a HOB unit, anyone have experience or comments on what fits and works?

The Remora hob is what I use on both of my 28 gallon JBJ's. It flows in to the center sump chamber and the pump fits in the chamber next to it. The smallest pump that I could find is an 800 Rio. I have had no issues.

I have a oceanic biocube one if you want. it fits inside the first chamber and is run by a air stone. I upgraded to the remora though too.

I run a octopus BH-1000 the pump is on the outside and it skimms really well, getting some micro bubbles tho.

If the Tunze 9002 would have fit in the chamber, I probably would be using that skimmer

I am baby sitting a friends 28 gal nano
Cube. It had no skimmer & needed badly.
I'm not a Baller & cannot afford 2 buy my friend skimmer.
So I made a ghetto skimmer that is working IMO as good as any nano skimmer I could have bought.
