On the plus side I saw the blenny poke his head out from under my monti cap. Hopefully these guys settle in and get used to lights turning on and off.

Few pictures from today. A little under exposed, but compared to most my pictures pretty darn close.

Forgot the name of these, anyone know?

All I found on the floor was 1. These guys rotate positions in the group so much it makes it difficult to count. I may need to look into rigging up a screen top.
One of my gobies to a carpet dive last night. Still have my yellow watchman, gonna go get a pistol shrimp tomorrow and pair him. Hope it reduces chances of jumping being paired

Ah man that blows! What type of goby was it? I go back and forth on a top all the time.

Yeah I agree. I was worried about the glass cardinals after the first jumper on day 1 but the rest are good to go. Eating like pigs and stick around mid zone.

Rimless is cool, but fish on the floor isn't... Lost a few, then went with a screen... No more crispy fish..

F'd up and tossed a neon goby in the tank. Velvet wiped out the majority of my tank. The last 4 fish seem unphased. The firefish survived the first go with the help of copper so its no surprise he was strong against it. My leopard wrasse, red masked goby and striped goby also seemed to fend it off well.
Fish I lost:
Flame tip tang
All 8 glass red dot cardinals
watchman goby
neon goby
both clowns
3 masked gobies - may have disappeared for other reasons not sure.

Major bummer. Not sure what to do with the remaining fish when I move to the 180. I hate to have them just be hosts and kill off every other fish I add in the future. Its much easier to capture decent pictures of the fish as well, very please.

Now for a positive reef plus! I meet up with Tangwich to buy his Nikon D80. Really loving this thing. I still need to play with it, but already the white balance seems to be very accurate. Big thanks to Jesse.

Yeah, it's the same fish that took out my tank in December. Same symptoms and same store. Very foolish on my part.

Think all other fish will be done for if I added these guys to my 180 when the time comes?

Wow, very nice Matt. Sorry to hear about your fish but glad the rest of the tank is doing great and glad you're happy with the d80.

Yeah I guess I'll have to. I've wanted a leopard wrasse for some time and this guy I have now is strong, actually the boss of the tank. I'm still worried about how he would do with a copper treatment. I guess I'll have to put a Tupperware container with sand for him and hope for the best.
