I was able to get my CBB to eat frozen blood worms, missis and brine Shrimps. It didnt like the live worms.

I'm walking the line between starving him out a bit to try new foods yet keep some weight on him. I have been working frozen blood worms soaked in selcon into my frozen mix I feed the tank. He darts at them and watches, sees they don't move and goes about his business.

I've also been trying easy reefs masticks with no luck. I did buy the ready to use one and heard there is a difference so maybe I'll try the other one. This sticks to the glass/rocks about as long as a frozen chunk of food would so I'm not all that impressed so far.

Yeah, I didn't have much luck with the easy mastick myself. Maybe the powdered version is better? That stuff isn't cheap though. Hatch some baby brine, that usually does the trick for finicky eaters.

It didn’t eat frozen food initially. I just kept feeding it frozen food, then it just started eating it one day. What worked for me initially was shutting off the power heads.

Got a minute and tried to take some pictures of the fish. Still having issues with constant particles from the sand in the water column, I may try to turn down my flow a bit. You can see it in all the pictures:

Ornate in the group. Still surfs the glass most the day but since adding all the other fish he actually ventures into the rock work and acts somewhat normal.

Small leopard pics at rocks more than the tangs

Bangaii, I feel like I've taken this same picture in every system

Maybe the hobby's most underrated fairy wrasse, Lubbucks

Naoko seems a bit skinny. I ran out of mysis and brine, I don't think he's going for the LRS/rods

Eight line flasher and radiant in QT. Both acclimated but the radiant ain’t looking hot right now. Seems to struggle to right itself.

stoked on the 8 line though. That’s been on my list. View attachment 93615
Not sure if this guy was stuck in the bag weird or what. It was a curbside type deal already bagged when I got there. View attachment 93616

Nice! He's looking good. I feel like these guys are pretty unique looking. That blunt face makes it look like they'll back up all that flashing :) Do you have any other fairy/flashers?

As far as flashers he’s the only one

Got this photo while head sleeping

My tank is only 2 months old so I’m slowly adding, at the moment I just have a lunate fairy wrasse.

My goal is also to add these fairy’s
- Lineatus
- Exquisite

Also planning to add a leopards (not sure what kind)and a radiant

Funny how some, even of the same type, can take a move so well while others go downhill.
TGC Cherry bomb better than ever and the piece below is from my avatar

Vivid Orange Crush and no namers looking good

vivid confetti is a little lighter under daylight but great under blues

WD staying gold with pink highlights so par must be good

Blossom is going up in smoke. It’s currently sitting in a witch hazel dip @ 7.5 ml to 1L of tank water for 30 minutes. It doesn’t look like a total waste in this picture but the portion that’s facing down is mostly TN spread throughout. Basically why I didn’t frag it up and go for the dip. If it makes the dip I’ll be cutting frags and gluing them TN side down making sure to glue cover all die off.

I don’t think it would have seen morning so I’ll be surprised if it makes it at all. if it diodes, I’ll be dipping a few other pieces that look suspect amd have been dormant since I lost a few pieces in my 75 (HW, Jolt and Creme de la creme)

I suspect my nutrients truly bottomed out 2 days in. Pair that up with 100% new light source and I feel that’s my cause. I don’t like dosing po4/No3 but I’ve slowly brought it back up to .04 and 5ppm. I’ll be picking up some reef roids and broadcast a few nights a week to help out now that my CBB is taking out most my aiptasia.

fingers crossed for the blossom. It was a stunner at one point it’ll be a shame to lose it.

My WD stays green does that mean my PAR is insufficient? When you were running radion blue what percent did you had it and how many hours a day? Thanks

Not the strongest looking group! I’m a little worried that maybe the polyps already bailed on all of them.

Could definitely be the case but also iron supplements can do that to yellow or gold pieces. So if you’re dosing anything like chaeto grow ect, it could be you are running higher on iron.

I was at 60% with diffusers about 8” off water. I had 3 xr30 in the 4’ span and that piece was about 6-8” under the water between 2 lights. I’ve found WD can handle insane par. I want to say the one in my 180 was getting 700+ under g3 pros so don’t be worried to move it up

Damnit. I spooked a wrasse checking on the frag I made last night. Wonder if it was the naoko. Something happened, I don’t think he was skinny enough to perish. Was eating well
