The question is, did someone actually sell you that little nub or was it an accidental frag someone sold?

Thanks guys!

No that frag was a gift/bank from a buddy. It was a accidental frag from his tank. After the glue mishap, I'm starting off pretty small. I need to remember to check it daily to make sure it's not on a ride from my urchin.

That's cool. I've seen some pretty small frags being sold and I always cringe at those. Tiny frags have such a hard time making a go at life. Your tank is doing well, so as long as the urchin doesn't get any crazy ideas.

ASD Doomsday. The two pieces finally met
ASD Doomsday-7.jpg

This group is really taking it's time. Paletta pink tip, BC Skinny Love, BC Angelica. Gonna pay off one day, when they get some size
BC pieces.jpg

BC Sunblaze Spathulata
BC Sunblaze spath.jpg

JF Flame making a comeback in color. Hope to see that nice base color throughout soon.
JF Flame-2.jpg

RR Blue Flame; Tricked my camera into making the image more blue. I shot in auto today and it worked well for anything, not blue. The color of the piece itself is pretty accurate though.
RR Blue Flame-3.jpg

A Mariculture piece settling in nicely.
Tongs Bubble Bath.jpg

Stay weird, ya weirdo (reflecting blue from bars, base is pretty pale/whitish)
Tong's Wierdo.jpg

Bought as a aussie millepora but I believe it might be a clathrata type acropora. Growing fast as you can see with those white edges but it's getting thick at the same time. Very cool piece, gonna be a tough one to trim back without destroying.
Tongs Rainbow Millepora-3.jpg

Still "battling" algae (not really doing shit honestly) but my bryopsis is getting knocked back. I believe my fox face is getting after it but not sure. Huge chunks gone over a few days time and only really predominant in crevices. Makes me suspect a fish. Too fast for an urchin, I think.

Tanks looking solid again. Save some room for a Speciosa piece (SBB Frozen Voltron) I just picked up from SBB Corals.

That thing looks wild!

I moved my 4 loko and it's gaining some new color under blues, hopefully it's finally gonna start doing something. But I've been saying that since 2018. It finally encrusted that plug though, ha! If it does we can do a trade down the line. I haven't seen anyone with it, seems like most lost it.

Oh hell yeah. That would be rad. That was 1 Piece I always wanted also and no one had it. Almost got one from a guy in SD but got beat out by 1 person who hit him quicker than me.

So does that guy (SBB) just color up wild tenuis, sell them for ridiculous prices until they’re gone and lists them as out of stock? Those are crazy saturated pics. Plus, where are the colony pics?

Not sure show he typically sells as this was my first time purchasing from him but his prices were pretty good. Bought at auction at a fraction of the price listed. I would never spend that much on acros. But we got 3 pieces that were all encrusted on frag plugs so they weren't fresh cuts. Maybe wilds that he has grown out not sure. My experience so far has been great with them.

I love that piece (4loco) been chasing it down for a while . But the 2 people I know have it seem to not have much luck growing it out.

That’s good. Whenever I see prices like that, I cringe that people are just throwing away money, especially on a species that has a really poor track record (speciosa). Cool, back to Matt’s kick’n reef!

Yeah it seems pretty finicky for sure. I saw it in all it's glory in the back frag tank at Vivid. Absolutely crazy coloration on it under blues. I'm not sure Brandon is even there anymore, I think he started his own thing? That frag tank was packed with fire but I think it's nearly impossible to replicate. Being tied into that 800g display and he was absolutely nailing it with radions at the time.

Hopefully I'll get some of that color back. I know some say it's the same as Lady in Pink, but it sure didn't look like it to me.

Glad to hear others still have it hanging on too.
