I like the dimensions of the Aqua Japan line and the quality for the price. The armored bottom seam and the external overflow are a big plus.

how do you like the reefis over the radions? pretty sure i'm gonna swap to them myself. radion glare aint it
In my opinion, the Reefi blows the radion out of the water. I'm getting 325-400 par on my rock structure at only 55 watts. The Reefi is the Hellcat of lights. The fixtures are 270 watts each, so you will have more par than you need. The different lenses give you versatility. I'm running the 120-degree lenses to get as much overlapping spread as possible.
The overall build quality of the Reefi is top-notch. The power supplies are heavy bricks. The spectrum on the Reefi is fat. I haven't seen a person regret going with Reefi.

Does your cor20 make a humming sound?
My Cor20 has been silent. The only time I've had a noise from it was when something got sucked up the intake. I put an intake screen on it to keep it clear. I'm running it at 50% with no issues. The power supply was replaced two years ago.

Oh I see. I’m not sure why it’s making the humming noise. When it’s not connected to the return hose it’s silent

The corals are starting to fill in nicely. I have seen some improvement in growth and overall coral health with the addition of Tropic Marine NP-Bacto Balance. I've been dosing 1 ml daily for over a month. The biggest improvement has been PE.

My latest coral additions were from SSB Corals. I picked up a few pieces from their last sale. The size and health of the corals surprised me. I've been trying to think of how to make room for future SBB corals.

You know it's a serious reefer if the sump area is bigger than the tank! ;)

Great looking tank and photos. I think you need another upgrade soon -- tank is already full! lol

The tank has stayed stable with good coral growth. Kalk is keeping the Ph up between 8.12 and 8.40. Regular ICP tests have helped fine-tune major and minor elements. My biggest struggle is maintaining iodine. I've doubled the iodine dose recommendation by Reef Moonshiners, and the last test showed iodine in the 30s.

Damn, that cabinet would make my wife proud because she is the organizer expert in the house.

I want my tank to look like that when it grows up.

Beautiful tank. Hooked it up with a bunch of frags recently and all were really healthy and doing great!

Curious if you’re doing water changes with the moonshiners method? I started on that a couple months ago but feel like water changes make it hard to know if I’m just throwing things out of balance from what corrections and dosing is recommended on the moonshiners method.
