The camera is a Sony nex 7, my previous camera was a point and shoot. I think any slr would be wonderful, my previous difficulties were not being able to correct white balance so everything had that weird blue look. I don't have a macro lens, I am using the kit lens that came with the camera, 18-55mm.

I do believe it is a tenuis as well. With the flow.turned off, the.polyp extension is pretty impressive. The top down view with out flow is so dramatic. First of all colors that can't be seen, show up with flow off. Additionally, my tank is a 180 gallon bow front and that is a lot of curved glass to shoot through.

The purple polyped nasuta next to it is really cool, I will post a better pic of it later. I also have a blue polyped nasuta but it is in a harder to reach spot to photograph , lots of other acros all around it.
