Spidermans. how much or little light?

Hey everyone I do mainly SPS and do them well but LPS, zoas/palys are not my cup of tee...yet.

Where do I need to place my spider mans? high, low, medium...trash can? just not getting the color i want out of them. thanks for any help.

i run a 24 high tank and 250 watt radium i put them on the bottom they look nice medium low flow

mine do really good in high lighting, under 14k metal halide. great growth and color. med flow and your in business

Mine were in middle now on bottom in a 24" tank with mh

i would agree with they do well anywhere.. i have Sunny Ds about 2 inches from the top, and i have some on the bottom..they both look good. (under 250w MH) i have lots of other random zoas placed in different lighting and different flow and they are all doing good...if u have them high and they dont look good then try moving them to a diff spot..maybe ur zoas are picky

And frags on rack in middle of tank
Both look good

Sahn is correct. I had a big colony of them. they were om the bottom of my 24" deep tank in medium to low flow.
