Is it possible to actively grow healthy sps under t5 with no led or halide? I have a 6 bulb t5 and would really like to try my hand at sps as my lps and softies are doing great. My Duncan has went from 4 to 9 heads in 2 months and can't wait till I can do sps. Hopefully under t5

I run a 6bulb TekElite over my 40B thats 100% sps and a few clams..
It just all depends on your tanks height? What type of fixture and bulbs you use? and coral placement? Also good water params and water flow of course! HTH!

T5's have worked for me for 2 years now. Good color and growth for all SPS. I use ATI and Giesseman bulbs and I replace all 6 each year

You replace them just once a year? I always thought bulb life was like 8 months max haha but I guess that also depends on run time
