Well it has been 2 weeks and about 75% of my SPS is STN-ing. I grew most of these from little booger frags, ..... so frustrating and depressing...:frusty:
I know the tank is still trying to really stabilize so I hope this recession stops soon or I wont have anything left.

I know my ph/alk is swinging as I am trying to dial in the new tank requirements, also having a mini cycle from the sand I rinsed.

So far lost-receding
Pink lemonade, red planet, bubblegum milli, green milli, rainbow milli, snowcone prostrata, pink prostrata, green slimer, nana, grafted milli, purple plasma, skittles granulosa and a few others....

I'd give you anything I could. Our stuff is still too new, small, and common. GL in replacing what you've lost

Temp was low last week- swinging around 76-78. I upped the heaters to turn on earlier as I am learning how long it takes them to heat the new water volume. Good suggestion- I may do some trimming today..

60 gallon water changes 1x a week so far, using vodka & prodibio bacteria, alk looked like it was swinging a bit last week but has stabilized out around 160-170 w/ the hanna alk checker.

It was pretty close- alk was a bit lower with the new water.
I swapped the water back-and forth over a 2 day - 10 gallons from the DT (new water) into the holding tank (gray bin) and then letting it sit for about an hour then taking 10 gallons back into the DT. - everything looked ok - polyps out, colored up, until about mid last week.
I know something is spiking/fluctuating too much but I just need to figgure it out & nail it down....

using vodka & prodibio bacteria, have you been doing this? i also notices when i started back my vodka dosing it would rtn from bottom up. exactly like your pictures alk swings dont make corals look like that they go from the tips.

salt mix you are using? before and after. sorry to hear man estaban and i went through this before tank o death. make sure when you cut the coral cut at least half in before the dying part you want a good clean frag

I was using vodka & prodibio before in my 125g- I have kept the dose the same as it was in the 125g- maybe i should cut it down? How long did your vodka-RTN effects last?

I use NSW- always have for the past few years.
