i stopped the vodka and started the process over from scratch i waited like a week or 2 when i lost half my tank i was like ahhhhh.... i think i should stop back to the basic wc wc wc carbon gfo polypad. waited 3 weeks then tested my p04 and went at it from the beginning i still have stuff die on me but i blame that on estaban putting a curse on my tank

sometimes i wonder why i put myself through this

I was using vodka & prodibio before in my 125g- I have kept the dose the same as it was in the 125g- maybe i should cut it down? How long did your vodka-RTN effects last?

I use NSW- always have for the past few years.

Ya I think a new tank might still be to "clean" to start stripping with vodka. The Sps might actually have their tissue irritated and are probably hungry.

Your progression, looks like my bio pellet Failure. Water change and stop dosing stuff. Feed the coral.

Thanks for the advice- looks like 2 strikes against the carbon dosing until the tank re-stabilizes.

No expert here. Just similar fail experience, (insert grown man crying!)

Your tank looked awesome. But it's just obvious that your coral are ticked about the either lack of food, swings, or the carbon source is irritating their skin.

Also that age factor of the tank with Sps is always a non fact but seems is the mystery that always seems to be accurate. Year old and older do Sps better than fresh ones.

Yup, just to confirm with everyone else, lots of water changes and keep it simple until things are improving. Have gone through this myself so I understand. I'm sure you'll be on track soon.
