Hi all! in my ongoing quest to build my reef tank I need some experienced answers. I want to "comfortably" stuff the biggest sump/refugium(S/R) in my stand as possible. I am even willing to get a custom built. The dimensions of my tank will be 40 x 24 x 20. Let s make this easy and lets just talk about S/R LENGTH. The back of the stand is removable so do you all think I can fit a 30 inch or a 32 inch S/R in there? I like the Trigger systems Ruby 30S (and if I can want to make it 2 inches longer to a 32 inch). DO an of you have any experience with the ETSS S/R? they are a bit more expensive and wonder if they are worth it. LOL! Sorry for sneaking in a second question...

I was looking at their sumps when doing my latest system and found that there weren't many skimmers the size I needed that would fit in the first chamber. I wanted to fill the whole stand with a sump but you will need extra room no matter what. You're probably better off just doing a sump no refugium, but that's just me.
