Hello everyone, I am aggressively trying to upgrade my tank from a 40 gal tall to possibly 50-75 gallon tank. I have been struggle with tank demension and I finally narrow it down to 2. So, it is either going to be 30x24x18 or 30x30x18 rimless. I have wondering if any of you own tanks with this demensions. If you do, please post a pic of your tank so I could get a visual idea of how it is going to look. If you are located in OC, maybe if it is okay with you I can stop by and check your tank out. thanks in advance.

I would recommend going with the biggest size your have room for..
IME, I am never happy with the size tank I get and always looking forward to a bigger tank.
That extra 6 inch width will give you more room, more water volume, and more importantly more room for fish and corals =)

I like the 30x30x18 dimensions. It's a nice cube tank with plenty of room to work with! Nice upgrade size imo :)
Thx for you input. I have you and Mike saying go for the bigger one. Wish I could see how this tank looks like in person. LMK if you know anyone who would like to show me their tank with 30x30x18 tank. thx again.

either one would be very nice... one 400w halide over it, is that what you're thinking? I might go for the slightly smaller one--that's a lot of space sticking out from your wall, but it WOULD be handy for the extra fish and such...

FWIW Ali at amazing aquariums and reefs has a lot of tanks with similar dimensions to what you're talking about. I'd go there and check his out for sure.
