So I am sure we all know what our tanks are supposed to smell like. Typically my DT smells like nothing, the area around my skimmer smells a little like sulfur, and the fuge smells kinda green (sorry, don't know a better way to describe it than that).

Since my adult 4.5" melenarus disappeared 4 days ago, the tank has been smelling a little "off". Not bad... not like something rotting. more like a crab boil where you get that sweet seafood smell.

Params are still good except NO3 which is currently 5-7ppm.

any other fish I have lost have gotten devoured by CUC in less than 12 hours. Since the wrasse is a sand dweller will my 50+ nasarius take care of it?

I have no idea how I would find a dead fish under all this sand.... Any ideas? May just ride it out and keep a close eye on params for WC's.

Get that prime out Bubba. What's going on with your death trap of a tank? Was it those special fish?

I've really never fished out a dead fish. I usually never see the fish once they die because they get stuck in the rocks and stuff. Never really had a problem from it though either

Last time I remember seeing him was before I fished out the lizard blenny. Must have scared him and he hid? Wife is sad... one of her favorite fish.

Not sure what's going on with the tank. Everything looks good since the a-hole left.
