So I have me one heck of a reefing wife. You all know her as Shifty Girl. She's The best if you ask me. Not only does she love the hobby, she was all over the upgrade and is always doing research. She also contributes so much to the tanks by winning all kinds of cool thing for us. So far she has won $250 from marine geek, she also won 50lb or so of real reef rock from marine geek, $100 from fish collection, $40 from fantastic frags, $50 from TRFS, a subscription from coral mag, andn now she just won an LED fuge light from reef builders. Can you ask for anything more

Awesome to share a hobby. I hear all these reefer guys complaining that their wives don't let them spend $$ on the tank. It's awesome to have someone who shares your passion!

This is so true Stephen. I would hate to be with someone that tried to control what I spent money on. She's always down to improve the tank, and she even plans out different shops to check out when we are out of town.

Very cool!

I eat, breathe, and live fish 24/7 because this industry is both how I make my living and my hobby. Unfortunately, the extend that I'm inundated with the hobby has turned my wife off to it some... she likes to look at my aquarium occasionally and likes to name the fish, but that's about it...

My wife likes the tank but hates the expense and that I play with it more than her. The End

Ya you're a lucky bastard for having a wife that likes the tank like you do. Be nice to work and have a fish nerd manning it when I'm away.

My gf isn't on the level of maintaining my tank, but she takes care of it while I'm away. She's into the hobby for sure though..especially now that she's got her own 8g
