Purple tang for 90. I want a chervon tang so bad. But I'm not down to spend 120 on him. I won't spend more then 100 on a fish. Too risky. Haha

Sub Category; epic multiple fail expenditures, go! I say, "GO!"
that's in freshwater...

i had a just gotten a uber rare extinct in the wild african cichlid... actually got 4 pairs of them... paid about, 170 a piece at that time... anyways... my cheaper synodontis petricola killed them all... that SUCKED... those guys never killed anything else before or after that... then i ended up getting some rarer cichlids, and bred them like crazy...

the end...

I spent close to $500 to get one healthy HI Flame wrasse...
Killed 3 to have one Super male. Male jumped out of acclimation bin to his death, quick couple hundo down the toilet. Females one died from ammonia, other never recovered from her 7 foot fall, the end.

It took me 8 before I got the one that lived, it's still alive in my tank now. From everything from jumping, harassment from Ms. Nasty, to bad fish from wholesaler...

why do you guys keep buying them if they die and are BALLA!...?
Because I knew it was circumstances beyond my control that was killing them, knowing full well, that I could keep them alive if not for certain reasons, which I changed till I got it right. Like not buying from that particular wholesaler, completely covering my tank including the 1 " gap of only eggcrate one female jumped through. Isolating the noobs from Ms. Nasty. Then I stopped when I got it right, but unfortunately the male is a wife beater so I am not looking for a female anymore.

My harlequin tuskfish about 4 inches and the raddest tailspots id seen. got along great with all my fish but ate every snail and hermit crab. Flipped corals like a dragon wrasse looking for more so eventually he got his own 100g FOWLR which I got for less than the fish itself. Red dwarf lion, porcupine puffer named Saddam and dragon wrasse added later. I miss that tank

Hi all, been a while since I've been back on here. Anyhow I had my tank set up for sharks. My little son loved them. Since he has died, I've decided to go back but this time as FOWLR.

So my most expensive fish to date. Anyone here ever heard of a Goldenback Trigger fish. I got him as a steal for $500, it is worth something like a $1000. I got him and one day stop eating and his stomach bloated up. SUPER SAD that I lost him. Never seen this fish again. He is right in the middle with two tone color!

My additions now include quite a few, these are the more expensive ones..

that's tight.. i had the choice to get that, or a golden heart triggerfish... i got the golden heart because i heard a lot of non aggressive veggie eating triggerfish are harder to keep... but that was before NLS and other foods came out... it was show quality too... huge... but that tank got shut down, and i sold it for super cheap... like 450... that was stupid... i should've kept it... i hardly see them now...
