This is just my 2 cents regarding free stuff asking for or offered
Of all the forums I am a member of this one gives away the most free stuff sometimes its junk but most is not. Its says a lot about the caliber of reefer's here that give not only products but a helping hand also by just asking. I was raised while taking something free when offered is OK its just the right thing to do to offer something in return what ever you would offer....product, help,...what ever. When I come here to learn, share, talk to friends and see new threads of new members asking for free stuff with no post count its hard not to think that's the only reason they are here.
If any new member sees something offered for free......go for it just show respect and manners to not only the giver but this forum and the other members. Build your membership with getting to know and help other's here and the free stuff happens.

The issue where this all stems from is in the past a lot of serious douchers would collect free things and flip them a good while later. Never paying it forward.
So a few guys got all butt hurt and we sold pitchforks with leds and went hunting for these scum bags. In reality who gives a crap.
But as some of you know it's more fun joining the mob to see where it leads. Activity increases on the forum and people mostly have fun. Some people can't have fun and that all good and that's their choice as well.

Spinner hit the nail on the head. But I hope a lot of people see this form. It does narrow down to respect. People need to use those manners that our folks taught us when we were young. You dont just point to the cabinet and say I want cookies because then your gonna get your hand slapped and kicked out of the kitchen. Now if your polite and say excuse me but can I please have one or two cookies for a snack odds are you might get a cookie. If he would of posted something saying he's new to the saltwater world his tank has been up for x amount of time, just gave us a story about him and then asked if anyone has some cheep or possibly free frags just to get his feet in the water to see what works or not I would of and most of you would of offerd stuff to this guy with lots of advise. But instead he said give me some free **** and just pissed everyone off. So everyone out there dont be afraid to ask just ask the right way that way you dont get put on blast like this guy. There are a lot of nice people on these forms and some other ones like RC that im more active on. In the end everyone's here to help each other out.
