It's time for me to replace my bulbs. I'd love to go Phoenix, but that's not in the budget right now... What do you guys recommend for MH bulbs that have that balance of growth and color pop, but won't break the bank?

Also, any suggestions for T5 actinic bulbs?

Check to see if marine depot or reef geeks have any Phoenix on sale! I love mine and would highly recommend it. As for T5 bulbs I've heard nothing but good things about ati blue plus.

If your looking for a good price go on aquatraders everythings pretty cheap but you get what you pay for haha works perfectly fine tho ive just found the T5 are kinda duller than say the 14$ wave point bulbs but aquatraders has alota cool stuff for cheap and i get all my fixtures there

I run XM 15k 250w single end with 2x39 ATI blue plus and ATI purple plus. 150w Hamilton 20k or 14k with two blue plus t5 should look nice. Be sure to adjust your corals to the new bulbs.... run the lights shorter time period then normal.
