I have this tyree toadstool for about 3 months with any problem. Now it was been like 1.5 week and the green tentacles has not extended. It hasn't extend for some time that green algae grew on top. I cleaned off the aglae and don't know what else I can do to get it back to normal. Any advice is welcome.

As far as I know that is common. I have been told that they are digesting food and it can take up to two weeks. Then when they emerge they are bigger.

When I first got mine TS it did the same and told the same but after several noticed that they have not done this in more than a year. They are growing fast and has fragged itself many times also. I do know they are very sensitive to low ph and alk for sure and will react the same so you might want to check those two just to be safe.

it could be because it's "peeling skin" or whatever you call it...

my brown toadstool does this often and tentacles sometimes won't extract for like 3-4weeks

my tyree toadstool has never done this though and I had it since it was a size of a booger, now it's about 5" high and 6" in diameter
