I remember those zoas, i thought theyd go down in price by now? Corals are like pokemon, gotta have them all! Lol. Most become common over time, cause of the ease of care and reproduction rate. and then you got the corals that hold there value due to the difficult care and limited availability. For example, 1st edition charizard. Lmao theyre limited and they hold their value.
that's not what i was saying... the thread is rarest polyp... not most expensive and hyped up polyp...

btw... back in 99, i had about 20 charizard 1st edition cards... i sold 4 of them, and had 5 graded by the PSA... i had 3 PSA 10 gem charizard 1st edition cards... i had them locked up in a tool box in a storage behind my house... and they were stolen... i bet they only got like 100 bucks for them cards... a psa 10 charizard goes for like 4K right now... HAHAHA>. oh well... i had thousands of pokemon cards... about 100 blastoise and 60 bulbasaurs... sucks...

Too bad I remember I had to trade them at El Piojito in McArthur Park for un pantalon de mesclia y una chert con el cocodrilo....saddest day of my life : (

I disagree because I think the bloodshots have actualy appreciated in value because they melt so easily. When they first came out I could find a polyp for $50-$60 no problem but now the going rate is around $80-$100. I can see the same thing happen with strats. Also with Kracks sure the price might come down a bit once the hype fades but from the people I have talked to that have them they say they melt extremly easily. I think most the zoas that tuna listed will hold their values and some will even increase.
vu knows man didnt you know that lol

Great list guys! The reason i started this thread was to start my wish list of zoas for next year. This time around with my new setup, im going to collecting the rarest, most sought aftered zoas/ polyps. Im making the jump from hobbyist to collector.

Btw, lexusman, do you remember when i broke my tank down, i believe you bought some paradise zoas from me, i was wondering if you still had them? Id like to buy a couple polyps from you if you still have them.
aren't hobbyists collectors? What's the difference? Keep in mind that all the "rare" zoas will be common in a year. Look at all the zoas that a few years ago where baller zoas that cost a lot and were rare. Nuke greens were crazy sought after and are so common now. Remember the blue/purple hornet fad? Suuuuuper expensive and "rare". Now super common. Blue Agave, Darth Mauls, Captain Americas, Utter chaos etc. They are all live animals found in the ocean. They grow and multiply in our tanks.

this... all of that hype never made them rare... just expensive... the hype is real... don't understand why hype goes up when the price does... rare polyps should be like og ppe's... since they grow super slow... also nuclear green palygrandi... super slow...

if they have a white or a blurry face, they are not the OG PPE... i had all 3 strands... the OG ones would grow about 2 polyps a year... the other ones that looked just the same would grow about one a polyp, and the ones with the white blurry face grew super fast... they were all next to eachother on the same rock btw...
