Just recently went on vacation, my reef tank was thriving, I'm back now and my tank is not looking so good. Its about 70% of what it used to be. I did a good size water change the next day I got back, but wondering what everyone else would do to get all there water parameters back to healthy levels...Just water changes or???
One thing I did do is remove my carbon I bought from my LFS as a quick replacement to the Aquamaxx Carbon One I had consistently been using, took out the filter sponge in my sump and changed my filter sock a few times since I have been back. I'm thinking the amount of Carbon in the quick replacement I bought from my LFS may have been too much.
