Hey!

I still need one barrel, but you get the idea. I'll build a little 4' wide stand to sit it on. Looks OK? This is my first one... I borrowed other thread ideas. The right side is for the mixed saltwater. The pump is the Panworld 50 px-x (1110 gph @ 90 watts) and all the piping is 1".

On a side note, I'm going to Chino to buy another barrel if anyone wants me to grab them one and save me some gas money.

Thanks Jesse, I've been meaning to do this for a while, just been lazy I guess.

Yeah this will go in our spare room, I don't have a garage... I wish. I'd have a giant tank if I did. In a couple of years hopefully. If we are still in this apartment and we have a kid, I'm just going to have to put some teddy bears or something around it.

Thanks for sharing yours. Mine is pretty much the same. I am going to add a union at each bulkhead at the bottom so I can take it apart even easier if necessary.

Im glad it helped out, I also used the Web for the info for my station:typing:, Since I have been up and running with my station, My water Parms are near perfect !

It's all about control !

I've got 2 of the blue barrels for sale, and a 125g mixing tank...

Looks clean. WTF are you putting it? I ended up just doing the lazy/below average version. Two rios, two hoses two bins, done.

Is this going to a straight shot into your sump or is it strictly for mixing?

Mixing only, if I had the space, I'd put in a garage or closet, straight into the tank, but for now gonna wheel over a smaller container and do the change.

These things will be about 30' away from my tank... only place I can put it and think using a humongous hose would hold a few gallons as it is...
