Anybody else's coral get pissed and release stringy crap everywhere when they clean tier sand and do a water change lol it freaks me out cuz in tryin some new sps right now

If you don't want that to happen you need to match the temp and alkalinity and salinity. Mainly the salinity. If you do that you can do a 50% wc and nothing gets mad. I only check my salinity and my corals never slime up. Not even the ones that stick outta water.

If they slime like that, it usually means they are NOT happy

Are u mixing ur own water? Or do U buy it?

U should hold off on water changes till u figure out what's going on

Might need some more flow. Looks like you have pockets of cyano in the corners. Might want to spread around the nutrients.
