I'm still using a Canon A610 but I haven't had much luck with it when it comes to tank shots. The manual focus is a little cumbersome so I haven't done well with close-ups. It does have a nice underwater setting that does a good job of correcting WB with actinics in use.
I need to bite the bullet and buy myself a good DSLR w/macro. I was thinking of a XTi but I'll have to wait until next year.
True, but it will probably have to be closer to tax time to actually afford something. I've contemplated going for something used too, which might be easier to handle.
Sorry to get off topic once again, but have you tried www.1800petmeds.com? It's in Canada and as far as I know, they don't need a prescription for Interceptor. Also much cheaper. Good luck.
Unfortunately, the same camera in different hands will produce different quality pix. Most cameras will do a fine job. It's just a matter of finding the best combination of settings for each camera.
To be quite honest though, it doesnt matter having the best of the best camera body, spend less and get a great entry level digital SLR but do spend the Money on lenses, the most important part.

Yeah, I wish I could afford the REALLY sweet glass. I'm happy with my Sigma 105 Macro though, but wish I could put it on a better body than the XT. mmmmm.....full frame
