I would see if that pump on the aquamaxx would work on the cadlight skmimmer I hear that the cadlight pumps are garbage. Idk but maybe I'm wrong.

What I don't like about the cadlights is adjusting the bubble breaking point. You have to stick your hand in the sump which seems to be a PIA. Hopefully it's a set and forget skimmer

Yeah that's the first thing I said/thought... Before it even went into the sump lol..

I hope it is a set and forget also...
So far from what I set at last night it was doing the same this morning...

I do like that its pipeless... I have noticed very minimal if not any microbubbles.

That doesnt make sense? I guess the grass is always greener on the other side...
I've heard cadlights skimmers are good so I wanted to give it a go and see how well it would skim...

All skimmers are diff with diff tech ways of making bubbles and collection cups....

The colors change on what they are resting on, rock or sand etc. BTW, where do you get your ponnies. That is my next step now that the pipefish are doing well. I also just added a Mandarin Goby. I've been feeding them homegrown brine shrimp that I hatch from decapsulated eggs.
