Is a Japanese Maple, got the wire somewhere i just need to find it. I am using my led light fixture to see how it does indoors.
well.... the species looks like a trident from china or japan... i have started up a bunch of bonsai in the past... been using academa and lava rock as soil...

the thing about these maples are that if they get a little sick or beat up, it's very hard to bring it back to good health.. so i would throw it back outside if i were you.. if it starts dropping leaves, it will be too late...

how long have you had it...?

It's been about a week since i got it, i got it online so i was expecting some leaves to drop off due to stress during shipping but none yet. I will be taking it outside here and there.

Today I altered my reefbrite strip's brackets to hold the fixture much closer to my ATI. Lets me direct it more downward and I have some added space to work in the tank.

I think next I'll wipe down the **** fixture, lol!

I added biopellets, cleaned out my reactor, changed out my ATO pump, calibrated my Ph probe, changed water for my Nano and QT, scraped the glass, filled my ATO reservoir, change out my DI resin. I think that's the most maintenance I've done on my tank in 6 months

My skimmer has seemed off to me so decided to give it a good cleaning. Started taking it apart and saw the Venturi was completely caked with salt creep. After cleaning all of it out. Skimming like a champ again

Been awhile since this threads been posted so figured I'd chime in.
Today I took out my large chalice rock and cut off acouple of corals I sold and to change up the right side of my tank to match the left more but have it as sps and encrusters. Also did a 5g water change. added some new fish and corals! I'll update with pics on my build thread but here's the tank after rock is out. Took up a ton of space lol
