What did you guys do with your Turkey tropic Marin salt ?

I finally got my replacement bucket from tropic Marin. What did you guys do with the turkey made salt ? Mine is practically brand new and feel it’s a waste to toss.

Does anyone have a use for it ? You are welcome to pick it up

The bucket has a label that says made in turkey so I called brs and asked for a replacement. Salt water aquarium probably does the same you just need to contact them .

Luckily I don’t do water changes so I only added about 2-5 gallons worth of it . I guess I got lucky haha. I always have a one thing or another going on with the tank but I don’t think I can connect anything to the salt .

I actually went to the Home Depot to buy the cabinet today. It looks like they no longer carry the previous one I bought from there so now I have to find another.

If they had the cabinet the frag tank would have been up today haha

You can mix a cup per bucket of water and use it as a fertilizer for your plants

Checked my salt...it's from Turkey. Damnit. Guess it's just going to be used for QT like others suggested, great plan.

Anyone have any ideas how badly the contaminated salt can mess with your reef? I've been having some struggles with sps, but I chalked it up to having sub-one year tank.
