Ditch that stand u built, and order a big 8 foot tank. U won't regret it. After I got my 6 foot 180, it looks tiny and I want a 240/300 8foot. Go big Lindsay!! Don't get a smaller tank just cuz u already built a stand for that 190.

Yeah I'm thinking of going like 230 or something. A standard 6' is like 24 wide right? I wanna go at least 30 wide. And I'm thinking maybe 26 tall... I like tall tanks but I'm the one that will be working in the tank all the time and I can barely reach the bottom in my current tank that's 24 tall so... I'm gonna wait till I get to LA and look at the new house again to decide if I wanna go longer than 6' and if I wanna do another peninsula again.

96x24x24=240

I woke up to two inferno BTA's. The one I had must have heard my wife complaining and thought it should split...strength in numbers. Wish I could split. LOL...

If the new place allows go bigger then 6'. I love that my tank is 30" deep and wouldn't go any smaller, its also 24" tall and that's the Max I wanna go personally. You might regret it if you went taller. Go as big as space allows in your new house and its awesome that your getting a new one

Why not? Just cuz it'll be to tall for my arms and make things a pain and you think I'll regret it? I really love the look of tall tanks! I would like the look of my current tank a lot better if it were taller and it's only 4' long so I would probably really feel that way if the tank was 6 or 8'. Idk what to do...
