I'll try to get a pic but its hard to get a good action photo. But I'll keep trying.

Anyways my yellow tangs mouth is like down to the skeleton. It looks raw just on his upper lip. Otherwise he's acting normal. But I just wanna heal him. Thanks guys.

It looks like he rubbed the scales off on a rock because something was irritating his snout. Nothing you can really do except wait.

Yea he is a little thin. But I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong? I feed 1 whole frozen block of brine or mysis daily. Also a 2"x3" piece of seaweed daily. I'll try a little more seaweed because they love it. Other fish are thick and fine. And he doesn't seem weak or anything.

I believe you feed them 2-3x a day and remember small mouth fish won't eat as much in a single sitting or maybe the other fish are picking on it none the less it needs to be fed more I feed my fish 3-4x a day simply because I'm affraid ome don't eat as much as others..plus I like my fish to be fat lol

You should give him all the seaweed he can eat (i.e., there should be some in the tank all the time). Frozen lettuce (romaine not iceberg) works. Tangs like to graze all the time and if your tank has no algae in it.....Algae is not really that nutritious so they need a lot of it. Probably rubbed his nose raw trying to eat something in a crack.

Also, I don't think tangs have scales.
