I would use both they are both beneficial in different ways. I personally have not had any problems with crabs. Then again I'm married....

Get a few small crabs really small. Then get a bunch of small snails. If the crab had to eat the snail that means you don't need crabs. Whatever you do don't keep large anything in CUC cause they move all your FSM collection around. I just gave away 4 huge snails. And selling my urchin cause the Lil guys are good enough along with the poor tangs.

Yep I'd say a few (3-5) crabs and a bunch of snails (nerites, cerith, and nassarius)

my hermits tosses my frags around so i had to glue them all down. i think that's the only downside I've experienced.
