What salt does everyone use?

Hello All,

I just wanted to know what brand salt does everyone use? I'm on a budget so I've been looking at amazon prime and can get Coralife 150 gallon for $48.68 or Instant Ocean Sea Salt 160 gallon for $34.99 both with free shipping.

Thoughts?

Convenience? How so? Tmp is awesome but expensive. That's what I use. The reason is I used to use coralife, I know cheap stuff, and I was never able to keep yumas alive. A friend suggested my salt and not just my water quality. Let me tell you, idk what it is that makes this salt different, but I haven't lost a single coral (out of mysterious reasons) since I switched.

I use TMP its expensive but worth it. I'm on my second batch.

If you have a reef, you will have to dose calcium, alk... I use BRS drew's dosing pumps....

There is a local shop around my work that sells the buckets for 60.00 bucks. Easy for me to swing by and grab it when needed.

i got Reef Crystals 200g box from Rainbow Pet for ~$55 (yes I have a stockpile of salts in my garage for the zombie apocalyse), support LFS if you have the time.

try sps coral store for IO pretty good price. they are out in la canada. they are redoing the tanks in the store

Check with Chad (Coral Gazers) to see if the 200g box for $45 deal for Reef Crystals is still good. I was tempted to get a couple boxes to last me at least couple years but I had to snap out of it and stopped the hoarder in me.

ive been meaning to check out his store, I pass his exit all the time. But i hear he has soo much good stuff and my DT is full & ive stuffed fish in every possible compartment. Ima hit him up for a metal stand for my next upgrade.
