Most of the time when an anemone is inflating/deflating, pushing its insides out the mouth it's due to a bacterial infection. I've never done it myself but I've read of others treating nems with anti-biotics this way In a QT and bringing back a nem from certain death almost over night.

He would do it in a qt in a small tank I would imagine. It's just a Nem so they don't need much flow or crazy amounts of lights. I'm interested to see a link to this.

You can buy online. There are couple drugs the same family with Cipro like Levaquin or Avelox (Levaquin and Avelox are more expensive than Cipro). They come with 250 mg, 500 mg and 750 mg. If you can not get it from the side I posted below, please let me know which strength do you want. I try to get some samples thru my brother in law doctor's office. I have a lot of Amoxicillin 500 mg at home if you want I can give some for you.
Avoid using vitamin or mineral supplements during treating Cipro, They could make the medication less effective.

If you really need it and if you think it will work let me know I can get you some. I've never tried it on anemone but I had great success using Ceftriaxone shots on my koi fishes. It's most effective if given a direct injection or food soaked in medication.

It's a broad spectrum antibiotics. It works well against gram negative bacterias including those that are resistant to penicillin. Did you know it can also be used to prevent or slow anthrax infection? And no you can't buy it over the counter because it's a strong antibiotics not some tylenol.
