Thinking about upgrading my lights for my new tank. 250 Gal 72 x 32 x 25" high , mixed reef.

These are my two choices, which one is the best and why....

AI Hydra Fifty Two Led

or

ATI 60" T5 / led Power Module

Thanks

WITHOUT looking at the specs and just going off personal opinion. I would go with the ATI. T5s give the best coloring in corals and LED packs the PAR punch. Example: when I had T5s on my 150 everything was super colorful but didn't grow too well. Then I switched to LEDs and everything grows like a weed but the colors all sort of went blue/green. I'd choose the ATI's. I have a hybrid myself and it provides plenty of light. You just gotta find the right color combo. The LEDs do give off a slight disco effect, so they don't look great by themselves, but with all T5's on, it works out. Programming the light can be a bit of a pain because it isn't as intuitive at first and you have to have it plugged to your computer. But overall, it's a good light.
