So I have three pretty boss skimmers and I want to run two on my new 150. The first is a reef dynamics ins 135, the second is a reef octopus int 2000 and the last is a reef octopus nwb150 6" pinwheel skimmer.

opinions and experiences would be greatly appreciated. All three pull some junk. I do like the quick connect of the reef dynamic Skimmer cup. I've spilt the octopus cup into my sump and not been happy. Other than that i have no complaints on any of them.

SRO 2000 is what I am using , upgraded recently .. and I love it! The bubble blaster pump is an animal! It pulls out the nastiest smelling skimmate I've ever pulled! I had the same issue with my cup spilling, because I have to tilt it to clear my sump when I remove it. I just added a hose line to the cups drain fitting..and added a little ball valve from an old rio powerhead pump, so I can now easily just open the valve and empty the contents into a bottle and dump it.

how about selling them all and get one good skimmer that fit your new tank? With the money you sell those skimmer, you can get one good skimmer. space, and power saver wise.. Just my 2 cent.

I've only had the sro for a month but definitely am digging it. I've used airline tubing before but sometimes it would clog but it's definitely something to keep in mind. I'd rather deal with a plugged hose than dump a while cup of skim back into my tank. Thanks for the advice btw

all of these skimmers could handle the load of my tank according to the manufacturer's specs with the exception of the dynamics (i used the dynamics skimmer on my 240 and although undersized it kept up well)... opinions on this will are also encouraged.

As for running two skimmers i have enough room in my sump for two and I like the idea of running two skimmers just for the added security. The extra $60 a year to run another pump is chump change in this hobby imho.

If I sold all the skimmers how much do you think I could get? Maybe $500-600. What skimmer would you recommend for a 150 with a heavy stock?

You got a recommendation? I've been told having two skimmers ain't a bad way to go. Between any two of these I'll have skimmers rated for 300 gallons on a 150. not trying to disregard your opinions just trying to understand them. Elaborate please.

Give me a best case scenario. Best skimmer in your opinion for a heavily stocked 150. 180 gallon total water capacity.
