Title says it all. I got a new platinum clown today that I've been wanting for awhile now, got the nicest one there. My fuzzy dwarf lion has always been cool with everyone and the platinum wasn't that small so I didn't think twice about having them in the same tank. I just got home and couldn't find the clown. Then saw "beast" with a bloated stomach. FML

I tried to see if I could save the clown. I took out the lion and stuck a chopstick in its mouth to see if I could open him up and pull out the clown. Wasn't going to happen, but I got stung twice trying.

Im pissed. Goodnight.

Yeah I guess that's just something that can happen at any time with a predatory fish. Nature sucks sometimes.

Did you try to take the fish out? I was really hoping that I could save it lol. I wonder if anyone has been successful in doing so without cutting and killing the offending fish.

I also forgot to mention that getting stung isn't as bad as everyone has told me. I was told that it would burn for hours or days and my hand would be numb. It felt like a bee sting and only lasted like 5mins.

I tossed my new pair of Wyoming whites in my tank, and my sargassum trigger chased the little one all around my tank. I eventually got my net and blocked him from chasing him. Then I fed that fat SOB and they have been fine ever since. Lol
