Will The Birdsnest Grow Back?

so I had the "red slime" from buying frags from C.L
tips & some branches are dead will these come back,or should I cut them? For new growth

They will grow back but I just trim them off and seems it starts to grow faster that way. Also cant stand to see the tips died.
