On probation with RC...Not gonna be there for long. Heard about this place and decided to come take a look. I'm sure many of you have seen my tank... my AKA is xxvietxjustinxx.

It's a species only tank...

I call it.. the ATTACK OF THE XENIAS

Have fun guys. I hope this place isn't full of RC Nazi mods :D.

I just got put on probation today with a possibility that my account will get deleted, lol. Ok, I guess selling a couple of coral frags in the propagated corals section is against user agreement policies.

Seems like several people sent a pm to the mods and complained for some reason or another about me selling my acans. So I am in the same boat.

lol, seems like it. i didn't think i was against user agreement, especially since the mod that sent me the pm wasn't even a mod for that forum. Oh well, power hungry mods, lame people complaining because they call dibs and try to do a several week layaway on corals with no payment. Tons of cool people there, but also tons of lame ones, lol.

but, I know that once sponser and vendors realize that RC is lossing people, not just the onesx that get banned, but those that follow them, and the vendors will start losing revenue, or potential revenue.

As a forum owner, it would be very beneficial to be able to go to a company like euro reef or any other company and broadcast how many users they have, or how many posts are made, and if RC lose people they lose revenue.

Oh well,

I will follow the crowds. I have always wondered why there is not a local so cal forum, that is run, mai8ntained and enforced by so cal people...

If they think you are trying to make a profit, you are a sure gonner. If they only knew how hard it is to turn a profit in this business, they would just let it go. RC sucks, why would anyone want to go there and worry about every little thing they say when you can come here and speak your mind.

Over 75% of the time I wanted to say something helpful - I didn't because I was concerned that someone would take it the wrong way resulting in mods upset at me. I remember the thread about squid - I said NOTHING about the store, just warned the guy it was difficult to keep squid. I don't even know the guy... well, I got in trouble because he mentioned my REAL name. Not even the store's name.

I'm a hobbyist first - store second.

For you conspiracy nuts:
Why would you say a forum would avoid allowing CFC to become a sponsor?
I've inquired about becoming a sponsor at a *certain* forum every few months for about a year now. No reply. I've asked the mods to check into it - they'll say they'll check it out - and then.. no reply.

you didnt offer them enough bribes ;) Had you offered a free skimmer, some free corals, and fish, you'd have a sponsorship :D

Of course I dont know which forum you are referring to, but I can only guess ;)
