I've been dry since Saturday and let me tell you it felt great for all of 4 days. Well.....until I sat in the under boss's "living area"( got her the look at me don't sit on me set a week ago.)
All I can say is that the old fish area is dark, quiet as whisper, and super lame.
Sunday I woke up to no sounds besides lil birds chirping. No water rushing, no mp 40 humming, no Skimmer churning, no wrasse flopping on the floor, no rodi flood, no Gfo reactor fastener incident, no power outage, no leaks, no frags landing on toxic coral, not a f'n sound. That was the ONLY hi-lights besides SCE constantly sending me ALERTS that I'm 48$ under my last bill (less than a week into the breakdown.)
I was in Vegas the last three days and it was really nice not having to look at my Aquanotes app and cameras to see if everyone was okay while I was gone.
Fast forward till today with a day off with minimal crap to do......I'm missing all sounds and most of all looking to the left and seeing my glass box glow.
Been seeing deals on smaller tanks and larger tanks and one part of me knows I can't be without sea critters for too long. I leave you to deal with Nick's gloating and dry as day old white toast, humor.....lol, winkeysmiley.
Thank you to a very small list of reefers that made this hobby incredibly enjoyable through the last 4.5 years. If I forget anyone don't be offended Cody says I have mashed potatoes for a brain and after coming back from Vegas I think it's gone rancid.
Reef bro thank you to: Campge/Gerardo/Jerry/Mamey de Scr, guy literally helped me empty my tank without even asking, gave up half his Saturday to help me. Great guy, good poppa, and I consider him a friend.
Mike Solitude/Tank of the century, thanks for all the texts, advice, gave me more than I have him, taking care of my tank while I was out of the country on multiple trips, and for all of your coral I killed, definitely a good friend.
Sanh/aka#backpagequeen, would personally deliver favors to my doorstep for a quickie and some food. Just don't go late into his garage and drink the punch.
ChrisPgr11, solid guy and if you get a chance have a beer with the guy and talk reef. Thanks for all the annoying group sexting, and countless belly laughs and editing and moderationz.
OscarMillan/chocolate bunny, great reefer, knowledgable guy, bad drunk, giver beyond belief, good guy to know.
Omar/BaconBits/reefomiswebosporbacon, pleasure to talk reef with and Scr drama to, lately all business but definitely wanted to thank him for helping me out and hanging out and throwing back some good brews.
PciScott thanks for offering your house for countless reef parties, and helping me on my lift and talking some advanced reef with me.
Oredith/smiley face king: thanks for the 300 texts last month, must be an Asian thing.
Steve/six2seven: thanks for the help when I've needed it and even though you showed sexted me a pic of you tag teaming two dudes in a cop car I won't pull a Nick and blast you here ;-)Nevermind.
Cody/whiniest moderator of all times: thanks for helping out everyone except me. Jk you've been an exceptional hobbit.
Thank everyone that takes excellent care of their reef and invited me into their home.
