I'm looking for any kind of BTA for purchase. I don't want any super rare ones, just one that will live and is healthy.

I also need new lighting. My tank is 36"x23"Lx18"W, so i need a light that will be good enough for the BTA and softies.

I'm located in Fullerton/La Habra, and I go to school in Pomona, so anyone close to those areas are preferred.

You can PM me, email me: cmac.photography@gmail.com or call/txt: 714-267-2570

Thanks,
Calvin

I know.. my tank wasn't really ready for a BTA yet, so I didn't get one. I was SO tempted to though. They had RBTA's for $40 and one BTA for $30.... damnit...

Ohhhhhhhh...I get it. Well there's plenty of members who have BTAs for sale. Is your tank newly cycled? If your tank is new and wasn't ready last weekend I doubt its ready now. Just focus on getting a good light setup and let your tank mature and stabilize some more. I know that was your plan from the beginning but it never hurts to repeat a good idea. BTAs are unforgiving when it comes to new setups. I'm not trying to be a buzzkill I just want you to be successful the first time around.

Anyway once you get the light go through the backlog of threads in the Livestock For Sale threads. I think somebody was selling BTAs ridiculously cheap this weekend...do keep us updated on your progress! REEF ON!

Thanks. Actually, it's been a month and a half since after the tank cycled, but I was being paranoid. All my params have been stable and consistent for a month, but I guess I was just being scared to get a BTA since I don't know how to take care of one at all! I had one that came with my Maroon, but idk if it was the water/lighting that killed it or if the maroon smothered it to death. All I know is tht one week it was nice and healthy, next thing you know it died! I've been reading, and I think I need to get rid of the maroon.

The 65 lbs of live rock and sand came from a mature tank, and it was cycling for about a month, then water params stayed stable andmconsistent for another month and a half. Not too mature, but its keeping fish really well without any huge ammonia spikes.

I cycled my new system with dry rock for 2 weeks then I added my nems no problem!

As long as alk isn't high and you have good lighting you are good!

I might have a new RBTA clone. My clone is hiding so it must be splitting. If it is 25$ and it's all yours. I will let you know. This guy likes to be out not like my wild nem and has a splash of turquoise on its belly or mouth whateves.
