The rare stuff is mostly online, unless you know the right people. I typically shop at Diver's Den or NY Aquatics for rare stuff.

You're very welcome. Here are some more, but they can be pricey...Like I said, if you know a lot of people in the hobby or know the right people, you may have an easier time finding rare stuff locally, but alas, I am a social hermit. lol

http://www.piecesoftheocean.com - pricey on some stuff, but good quality livestock (quarantined)

http://www.zoacollector.com - decent selection once in a while, but can be pricey--not sure about quarantine with them--they are based in Hawaii, so they will be a good source for rare Hawaii fish (Earl's, ventralis, etc.)

www.reefwise.com - decent selection of rare fish, but pricey; they quarantine

http://www.tritonmarineaquaculture.com - OK selection, not a lot of rarities, but they quarantine

http://www.pacificislandaqua.com - this used to be one of the best sites for rare fish; they are also based in Hawaii--not a great selection nowadays (once in a while), though.
